If you have replaced the radio unit of the iDrive system with another used part, the replacement unit has been locked (component protection). We can unlock it for you and code the unit to your vehicle.

FAULT CODES

B7F610 – Component protection active

B7F611 – Component protection: Data mismatch

B7F613 – Component protection: Invalid data record

B7F615 – Component protection: No release
